Engage with inspiring events and funding opportunities

New Future Worlds Accelerator – Applications open

In September 2018, Future Worlds will launch its new accelerator programme in a vibrant purpose designed space that will host up to 15 resident startups.

If you’re an entrepreneur at the University working on a startup and would like to apply for the programme, which includes a permanent or hot desk in the new space, then email reuben@futureworlds.com with the following information:

  • Your current course/position at the University.
  • A summary of your startup and why you should be in the space.
  • How much time you will be committing to your startup.

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. There is limited space so the earlier you apply the more likely you are to get in!

The accelerator programme will help move startups quickly towards funding, revenue and growth. The inspiring new space will become the on-campus hub for entrepreneurship, with flexible meeting booths, board room, video studio, kitchen/bar and state-of-the-art AV system.

“If you’re a student or researcher with an early stage startup then now is the time to act,” says Future Worlds Director Reuben Wilcock. “This is a unique opportunity to benefit from Future Worlds’ expert mentoring and work side-by-side with some of the University’s most talented entrepreneurs. We have a limited number of resident startup spaces still available, so apply now! ”

The new accelerator space will be located in Building 1 on University Road.
